MixZon Inc FAQ
|Q:||Why do I need to Upgrade to the latest version of CORMIX?|
|A:||We are pleased that you are thinking about upgrading to the latest version of CORMIX. We hope we can continue to earn your support and trust.|
The latest version of CORMIX, available for licensing is CORMIX v10.0 released on July 22nd 2016.
We strive to improve this computer aided modeling system for outfall simulation and design. We are committed to making CORMIX the best tool available for safe and reliable point source mixing zone analysis. We continually update the software, refine the rule base, improve hydrodynamics, and add new features.
In support of this effort, MixZon has implemented a comprehensive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process to document CORMIX model application and provide data for model validation, revision, and testing.
As part of our quality assurance process, we have documented dozens of improvements to the methodology for every new release. Some of these modifications are minor while others can significantly alter simulation model results in some cases. Therefore as developers of CAD software used by other design professionals, we cannot in good conscience support our clients to use software which we know to be outdated with documented errors.
Furthermore, our agreement with USEPA requires that we license the latest version of CORMIX to all Federal and State regulators. Hence, UPGRADING to the latest version of CORMIX ensures that our clients have the same version of CORMIX as the regulators.
We therefore strongly urge all our clients to Upgrade to the latest version of CORMIX to keep their versions current.
